NASF Launches New Suite of Surface Finishing Training Through Catalyst eLearning Center

Modern, flexible learning solutions designed for today’s surface finishing professionals

April 21, 2026 — Washington, DC — The National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF) today announced the launch of an enhanced suite of education and training solutions through its Catalyst eLearning Center, delivering modern, flexible learning opportunities for professionals across the surface finishing industry.

Built to meet the needs of today’s workforce, NASF’s expanded training portfolio includes instructor-led webinars, interactive eLearning courses, and digital textbooks, all designed to provide practical, real-world knowledge developed by subject matter experts with more than 20 years of industry experience.

The Catalyst eLearning Center serves as NASF’s online hub for on-demand training, offering a streamlined and mobile-responsive learning experience. The new training suite is designed to support professionals at all levels, from those entering the field to experienced practitioners seeking to deepen their technical expertise.

Key offerings include:

  • Live Webinars: Focused, two-hour sessions covering the most critical and challenging topics in surface finishing, paired with live Q&A for real-time engagement with instructors.
  • eLearning Courses: Interactive, self-paced modules featuring technical video instruction, knowledge checks and downloadable resources.
  • Digital Textbooks: Industry-approved reference materials available anytime to support onboarding, ongoing education and quick access to key information.

Since the launch of the Catalyst eLearning Center, 665 professionals have already engaged with NASF’s training programs, reflecting strong demand for flexible, high-quality education within the industry.

In addition to online learning, NASF will continue to offer in-person training opportunities at SUR/FIN 2026, taking place June 2-4 in Rosemont, Illinois. This year’s event will feature newly redesigned two-day classroom courses, providing attendees with greater flexibility to participate in both training and the broader conference experience. Participants will also have the opportunity to take NASF certification exams onsite.
