How It’s Governed
Requests for NASF 1000 funds are reviewed by the NASF Government Affairs Committee (GAC), which evaluates emerging issues and provides recommendations to the NASF Board of Directors. The Board retains full fiduciary responsibility and oversight of all expenditures.  The Board retains full fiduciary responsibility and oversight of all NASF 1000 expenditures.

Once a request has been received, you will receive a confirmation email from NASF staff.  All requests will be reviewed within 30 days of submission.

Please include the scope of work to be funded, an overview of the project and its ‎impact on the surface finishing industry, and the intended outcome of the request.‎

Review and Approval Process

Requests for NASF 1000 funds are circulated to the NASF Government Affairs Committee (GAC) and the Board of Directors.  The GAC reviews the request and will make a recommendation to the Board on whether or not to move forward with funding the request based on the information submitted.
